A Family Bed mattress can be used with the unique adjustable bed, which is able to raise the head and the feet of the bed. The family Bed adjustable bed can be made of two sizes of two Queen bases, or two California adjustable beds. Most adjustable beds in those sizes will not go up, and at the same time, both sizes will be able to sync together; this feature makes a Family Bed adjustable beds unique. Family beds are either available as 144” by 84” or 120” by 80”. The larger family bed option is suitable for tall family members. It is also twice as wide as the California king bed platform because one is 72” wide by 84” long, so when two of these lie side by side, it will be 144” by 84”. The smaller 120” by 80” family bed is still large enough to accommodate two queen bed frames. That is because the queen bed is 60” by 80”. When side by side, it is the same size as the family bed.
