HOW MUCH IS THE SCHOLARSHIP WORTH?
The Rest Right Mattress Scholarship will be awarded to one (1) eligible student. The scholarship is a single semester scholarship worth $500.
WHAT IS THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION?
Scholarship applications will be accepted through August 20, 2024, 11:59pm CST.
WHEN WILL THEY BE AWARDED?
The scholarship will be awarded August 25, 2024. We will contact you by email if you are awarded.
IS THIS A RENEWABLE SCHOLARSHIP?
This is a single, one-time scholarship of $500. Each year a new Rest Right Mattress Scholarship may be available. However, students are only eligible to receive the scholarship once.
ON WHAT CRITERIA WILL THE ESSAY BE JUDGED?
The essay will be judged on the following criteria:
- The essay answers each of the three questions.
- Many parts of the essay will be taken into consideration when selecting the scholarship recipient. The essay may be selected based on original voice, unique style, creativity, descriptive language, authenticity, interesting point of view, and presentation. This is not an exclusive list. The decision made by Rest Right Mattress will be final.
HOW WILL THE RECIPIENT BE CONTACTED?
The recipient of the 2023-2024 Rest Right Mattress Scholarship will be notified by email. At that time verification of enrollment status, GPA, and other eligibility requirements will take place. Should the recipient not respond to the initial email, Rest Right Mattress will make attempt to contact recipient by phone. If Rest Right Mattress is unable to contact the selected recipient within seven days of first attempt, an alternate award recipient will be chosen in their place.
WHAT CAN THE SCHOLARSHIP BE USED FOR?
The Rest Right Mattress Scholarship can be used towards tuition, books, fees, or other expenses related to attending an accredited university.
