App Controls and Under-Bed Lighting

Controlling the Leggett and Platt Prodigy 2.0 adjustable base is easy to do.  You can choose to use the included remote or access the controls via an App.  App controls are compatible for both iOS and Android devices.  This makes taking advantage of all of your new Leggett and Platt Prodigy 2.0 features simple for everyone.  Use the App controls to set the child lock, move through head/feet positions, and access pillow tilt or pre-set positions.  A neat feature to check out is the built-in lighting that illuminates from underneath the base.  Sometimes this lighting is used for décor, other times it is a useful tool for seeing.  This is especially true for times when you want a light but might not want the light to be too bright.

Intelligent Remote Control with Gentle Wake Alarm

So you may wonder how can a remote be different? While you can do the regular massage and sleep positions, the intelligent remote of the Leggett and Platt Prodigy 2.0 also remembers up to four of your favorite settings. One of the settings is your favorite sleep position with a timer to gently move you, as you’re drifting off. Do you need an alarm in the morning?  The silent alarm will wake you with a gentle alarm or an audio alarm. Not only does the Leggett and Platt Prodigy 2.0 adjustable bed come with a gentle alarm, it also comes with two programmable positions on the remote and four on the app. Simply pick the position you would like to sleep in and set it, and the bed will be in same position by a touch of a button. The Prodigy’s remote control is a truly intelligent remote taking your sleep experience to the next level.

Pillow-tilt Controls

True pillow tilt comes on the Leggett and Platt Prodigy 2.0 adjustable bed.  By pressing the pillow-tilt button on the remote, the top of the base will have an extra movement over traditional adjustable beds. This feature comes with an extra motor to move up or down the top of the base without having to incline all the way up. Leggett and Platt knows quality is important and the extra motor provides strong base movement.

Adjustable Bed MicroHook™ Retention System

The L&P exclusive MicroHook™ retention system comes on each a Leggett and Platt Prodigy 2.0.  This system eliminates the need for a retainer bar by incorporating a Velcro-type material which prevents mattress sliding.  Instead of using a retaining bar, this system keeps the mattress from slipping off the base. The system is great if you are going for the more modern decor look.  If you prefer to use a mattress retention bar, the Leggett and Platt Prodigy 2.0 does come with that as well.  The choice is yours.

Full Body Dual Massage with Wave

Massage is one of the comprehensive features you’ll appreciate on a Leggett and Platt Prodigy 2.0.  This fully adjustable dual massage has four levels of intensity. The dual massage allows the head and foot to be different levels of massage.  Leggett and Platt made it easy to change each level by pressing up or down on your app or remote. Anti-Snoring Feature

While you’re sleeping, by pressing the anti-snore button, the upper body will gently elevate the sleep position to reduce snoring. The position is a 7 degree angle. This feature will not only help you, but help your loved ones sleep better.

Wallhugger® Engineering

The Leggett and Platt Prodigy 2.0 Plus adjustable bed includes WallHugger, engineering originally invented and developed by its manufacturer.  The WallHugger automatically engages as you move through upper body positions.  This element is what keeps you near the wall as you incline and decline.  Rather than push you forward, this aspect moves you back as you lift and lower.  Wondering why this is important?  Well, there are actually a couple reasons you might want a WallHugger bed.  The first is that while you relax in bed, you might want to reach something on a nightstand, or bedside table.  If you were to be pushed forward, you may have a difficult time reaching a book, beverage or a lamp.  Another reason you might want a bed with WallHugger is if you plan to sleep alongside a partner.  In a larger split size adjustable bed, each side might be able to work independently.  If one person would be raised higher than the other without WallHugger, the two might not be side by side.  Ultimately, the Leggett and Platt Prodigy 2.0 Plus adjustable bed removes these issues with the WallHugger.

Adjustable Legs & USB Ports

Pick from five leg height settings on your Leggett and Platt Prodigy 2.0 bed. By pushing the pin in your desired setting you can adjust the legs from 6 inches up to 10 inches. Thus allows the distance from the floor to the top of the base to have a range of 14″ to 18″.  The Leggett and Platt Prodigy 2.0 also comes with multiple USB ports.  For a single standard sized base, the Leggett and Platt Prodigy 2.0 comes with four ports.  For a split size, each base comes with four totaling 8 USB ports for a split king.  Use the USB ports to charge wireless phones, iPads, Bluetooth headphones and more.

Compatible with Most Mattresses

Many mattresses can be used with a Leggett and Platt Prodigy 2.0 base and most mattresses are compatible.  For example, memory foam, latex and pillowtop mattresses can all pair well.  Even hybrid mattresses can be used with this adjustable bed.  Some interlocking coil mattresses won’t work as well with adjustable beds.  This is due to tangling coils when moving through positions.

Leggett and Platt Prodigy 2.0 Setup

The Leggett and Platt Prodigy 2.0 comes mostly pre assembled, though there will be a few pieces that will have to be assembled. If you have a split king adjustable bed, the dual sync cables will have to be plugged in the two bases to allow them to sync or you can move them independently. The legs can be hand screwed in.  If you want to use the retainer bar, which is not necessary thanks to the Mattress Retentio System, you slide the bar into the end of the bed.  Don’t forget to plug the adjustable bed into a power supply!  Now you are ready to enjoy all the perks of owning Leggett and Platt Prodigy 2.0.
