Ten air mattress sizes are available here in six models across two main brands.  Some of these air mattress sizes come with two air chambers, called dual air chambers.  Others have three or even six air chambers, depending on the size selected.  Each luxury air mattress offers adjustable firmness.

Split Top California King Air Mattress Size

From the center of a Split Top California King air mattress, the mattress is divided in two, towards the head.  At that point, down towards the feet, the mattress remains connected.  The boundary of the entire mattress has a length of 84 inches and a total width of 72 inches.

The California King air mattress has two options.  Dimensions for a one-piece is 72” x 84”.  For the split California King air mattress, there are two narrower mattresses, each with a width of 36 inches.  They are 84” long and used together they supply the same sleep surface area as a single California King.

Rather than being split from the head up, the Split King air mattress size is fully split down the middle.  This creates two smaller mattresses that measure 38” x 80” each.  The adjustable firmness is controlled separately for each side.  Both of these smaller mattresses put together make up a 76” x 80” surface.

The measurements of a Queen air mattress are 60 inches in width and 80 inches in length.  As one of the commonly selected mattress sizes, this one is available in several models.  As a standard size, there are many options for bases and bed frames to fit this air mattress.

Full Air Mattress Size

Smaller sizes, like the Full air mattress size, are usually only wide enough to sleep one person.  This size is made with a single air chamber or three air chambers. It has a length of 75” so it is long enough for the average adult to sleep comfortably.

Twin XL Air Mattress Size

A Twin XL mattress is a smaller bed size with a little extra length.  That makes them better for tall individuals.  The Twin XL air mattress size is just 38 inches wide but it boasts a generous 80-inch length.  It is produced with either one air chamber or three.

Twin Air Mattress Size

(38″ Width x 75″ Length)

Dimensions of a Twin air mattress are 38 ”x 75”.  This is the smallest of all air mattress sizes.  It is meant for use by one sleeper at a time.  The benefit of using a Twin is that it saves bedroom space so it can be a good choice for small apartments.
