What is a narrow twin mattress?

A narrow twin mattress, simply put, is not as wide as a twin mattress.  To be considered a narrow twin mattress, it must also not have the dimensions of any other size.  For example, a toddler or crib mattress is not a narrow twin even though it is narrower than a twin.  Narrow twins are designed with thickness of anywhere from six to twelve inches, just like other traditional sizes.  They can be composed of foams, latex, coils, or a combination of all three.  This size is especially versatile.  It can easily fit in and through tight spaces while still accommodating the length of the average adult.

Narrow Twin Sizes

There are three Narrow Twin mattress sizes and each has differing dimensions.  All three are 30” wide.  The longest of the Narrow Twin mattresses is 30” x 80” and the shortest is 30” x 72”.  The third option is 30” x 75”, but there are many custom sizes we can make..
