Standard Bed Frame: A lot of adjustable beds come with legs. If one has a standard bed frame, no need for a box spring foundation.

Platform Bed Frame:  Some adjustable beds lay flat on a platform bed frame. These do not require box spring foundations as well.

Storage Bed Frame: Adjustable beds with Storage bed frames that can lay flat without legs. It is because storage beds have drawers below the platform foundation. These also do not require box springs.
