The prime difference between the Valiant models of queen adjustable beds is the weight capacity.  For the Transfer Master Valiant SHD it is 750 pounds.  That’s a substantial increase from the lowest weight restrictions.  It is usually enough to hold up a weighty individual who may seek the benefits of a hospital bed.  Queen size bariatric hospital beds are heavy-duty and long lasting.  This can make them good for couples as well.  They can not only take the additional weight, they also provide ample space for two average size people.  This bed is available in multiple sizes, including a traditional queen.

Queen Hospital Bed Vs Twin Hospital Bed

When you first learned about home hospital beds did your mind envision those small ones used in medical facilities?  It’s no surprise that hospitals use smaller beds.  They must be able to transport them through halls passing people and other beds.  They must be able to fit more of them into each room and store them when not in use.  At home, you might want something that provides a more generous sleep surface.  The size is the biggest difference in comparing a queen size hospital bed and a twin-size hospital bed.  A twin will be 38 inches wide while a queen is 60 inches wide.  Both vary in lengths depending on if they are traditional or custom sizes.

Selecting a Queen Size Hospital Bed

Deciding on which queen size hospital bed is a good fit for your personal needs comes down to its features.  There are many shared features across the board, like the ability to adjust the head and feet.  However, there are some unique features that differ from one queen size hospital bed to the next.  Below are just a few of the feature you may find on these beds that are design to meet your day-to-day needs.

  • Wired or Wireless Remote, High-Low Adjustability, Massage, Casters, Floor Lighting, Saved Positioning, Side and Head Rails, Catheter Hook, Pillow Tilt, Wall hugger
