Do RV beds needs special sheets?

There are some things you must consider before buying RV bed sheets. Some RV mattress sizes may not be the standard rectangular shape. Some can have a corner cut. Those non-standard mattresses will need custom sheets. There are standard RV sheets available for typical rectangular RV mattresses. RV sheets can come in different materials such as microfiber and cotton.

The RV full sheet is a common size. The fitted sheet measures 54 inches by 75 inches. Meanwhile, the flat sheet measures 70 inches by 83 inches. The RV full sheet size is the same as a standard full sheet size.

  • Full: fitted sheet 54” x 75”, flat sheet 70”x 83”

The RV bunk mattress can come in many sizes. You may even need custom-made sheets. The bunk bed mattress can range from 28 inches wide and 75 inches long to 42 inches wide and 80 inches wide. Thus, you have to be more careful so that you get the correct sheets. To know the correct sheet sizes, just remember the following rules of thumb. The fitted sheet should be the same size as the mattress. As for the flat sheet, the width should be 8 inches wider than twice the mattress width. Meanwhile, the length should be 8 inches longer than the mattress length.
