What is a thin mattress called?

Latex: One mattress material that comes from nature is latex.  Latex feels different from memory foam.  Rather than molding to the curves of the body, latex has a buoyancy to it.  When processed correctly, it can last much longer so these commonly have longer manufacturer warranty terms.

 

Hybrid Mattress: Latex and memory foam are usually included in a thin hybrid mattress.  Though, this type of mattress can utilize other materials as well.  The idea behind a hybrid design is to use a variety of materials to maximize the comfort and support possible.
