Rize Contemporary IV
The Contemporary IV includes many features such as massage, head tilt, and the option to add a Rizer kit. The massage function offers several intensity levels, and the head tilt feature allows you to adjust the pillow area of the bed. This is an added benefit that enables the base to achieve a greater angle.
Highlighted Features
The lumbar feature provides edge-to-edge support. Rize is known for its lumbar design, as it is currently the only one offering full edge-to-edge coverage. This means the lumbar support extends completely to the edges of the bed.
The Rizer kit is an optional add-on that elevates the entire base at an angle. This feature is important for many people who suffer from acid reflux. The kit must be attached to the frame, as it is a separate piece.
The Rize Voice Power app can control the base when you press the voice button in the app controls. There are commands listed in the app instructions — for example, saying “Head Up” will raise the head of the bed. The app offers many different controls to operate the base without using the remote.
Under-bed Lighting Sensor
The under-bed lighting sensor detects movement and turns the light underneath the bed on. This is a good feature because it allows one to get in and out of bed quickly without waking up their sleeping companion by turning on the light. If the sleeper wakes up and gets out of bed, they can use the lights underneath the bed to see the floor when they walk around. They do not need to turn on a bedside lamp.
