This adjustable bed, like all of Kingship Comfort’s adjustable beds, is made in the USA.  It includes adjustable positioning, massage, programmable positions, and pre-programmed positions of Flat and Zero-Gravity.  Zero-Gravity is a specific position that moves the body by lifting the knees and elevating the legs.  It is often used to relieve pressure from the back and more evenly distribute body weight.

Adjustable legs allow the distance from the ground to the top of this base to be your choice of 11.5 inches, 13.5 inches, or 15.5 inches.  While it can be used on a platform bed, it is not recommended as the base profile is not as slim as the afore mentioned Glideaway Motion 500.

If you do not want a complete spit queen adjustable bed, the next best option is the Innomax split top queen adjustable bed. The Innomax upper flex is designed for split-top queen mattresses only. The base lets the feet move together while the head moves independently. This is unusual for adjustable beds because they are mostly entirely synchronous or completely asynchronous. In some ways, the Split Queen adjustable bed is similar to the Split King.  Often times, the models that come in a Split King will also come in the Split Queen size.  Both sizes have a split vertically down the middle of the bed and therefore come as two bases.  However, the sizes differ in actual dimensions.  The bases for a Split Queen adjustable bed each measure 30”x80”.  That’s narrower compared to each side of the Split King  adjustable bed which measures 38”x80”.  In terms of maximizing space, the smaller Split Queen size is a practical alternative to the Split King.

There are key differences between a Split Queen adjustable bed and a Queen adjustable bed.  With a Split Queen the bed is two bases which measure 30”x80”.  Imagine if you will, a Queen bed split vertically.  Each side is its own base that can work separately or be used together to form one bed.  The traditional Queen adjustable bed will often come as one base that measures 60”x80”.  So, it can only be used as one bed, moving into positions all at once across the entire sleep surface.  Sometimes, traditional Queen adjustable beds come as two bases for the purpose of transport and delivery.  In these cases, the bed is split horizontally.  The bed still can only operate as a single sleep surface once set up.

Is a Split Queen the same as two Twins?

Contrary to what some believe, a Split Queen adjustable bed is NOT the same as two Twins.  The sides of a Split Queen base measure 30” x 80” whereas a Twin is wider and shorter at 38” x 75”.  So, ultimately two Twin size beds do not make up a Split Queen size.

 

Which Split Queen adjustable has massage capabilities?

Several of these adjustable beds have integrated massage functions.  Two bases the Symphony Sleep 500E. Malouf M555, and the Kingship Comfort Plus has massage.  Keep in mind that not all beds offer the same massage selections.  One may have more intensities or differing types of massage versus another.

Does the Elevation kit come on the Split Queen Glideaway Motion 500 Or Symphony Sleep 500E?

Glideaway and Symphony Sleep does not manufacture an Elevation kit for the split queen size.  This kit is only available for the Motion 500 in sizes Twin XL, Queen and Split California King.

 

Is there a return policy for adjustable beds?

Typically, there are only return policies on mattresses, depending on the company and the sometimes the cost of the mattress.  The reason that adjustable beds cannot be returned in most cases is that they cost so much to ship and/or ship back.  That being said, if the item arrives damaged at delivery, we will fix it or replace it.  However, we cannot accept returns if the customer simply changes their mind.  Please see our return policy.
