Glideaway Motion 600 Adjustable Bed

The Glideaway Motion 600 is in the newest line of bases from the prominent brand.  This base has a pillow-tilt function with 30-degree range of motion, easily employed by wireless remote.  Although the Motion 600 doesn’t typically come with Elevation standard, we include the Elevation kit with the adjustable bed.  This feature makes it a good bed for GERD sufferers as it grants a special ability.  With Elevation, the head of the base can incline while the bed as a whole remains in a flat position.  Additionally, the Glideaway Motion 600 has programmable positions, underbed lighting, USB ports and more.

The Head and Foot Inclination Degree

The head of Glideway Motion 600 inclines up to 60 degrees, and its foot inclines up to 40 degrees. One consideration that you should take into account is the mattress. The Glideaway Motion adjustable bed inclines up to 60 degrees, the mattress is placed on the top of the base of the bed, and when the mattress is, the whole degree of the bed will be more inclined due to the thickness of the mattress.

Glideaway Elevation Kit in Sizes Split King, Queen, and Twin XL

The elevation kit on the Glideaway Motion 600 allows the whole bed to angle like in the photo above. This elevation kit is an add-on feature that attaches to the adjustable base. Glideaway does not make elevation kits on Split California King-size. However, this feature is added to the following sizes Twin XL, Queen, and Split King adjustable bed sizes.

The Overall Height of the Glideaway Motion 600 Bed

The overall height of the Glideaway Motion 600 from the ground to the base can be 8 inches, 11.5 inches, and 15 inches. This is an overall height without the elevation kit. The elevation kit adds more than 3 inches to the height of the base. To make the base to be same high of 15″ from the ground to the top of the base, you should remove one section of the feet to create an overall of 15 inches height or combine the top height with all the feet and the elevation kit to make it 18 inches.

The glideaway motion 600 can work with traditional and platform bed frames. Since the adjustable bed is zero clearance, the glideaway motion 600 will be able to work on the platform bed frames and even the elevation kits. Not all adjustable beds match with platform beds. However, the glideaway motion 600-bed base can also work with platform bed frames.

To install a Glideaway Motion 600 adjustable bed, you will need the following parts power supply, mattress, retainer brackets, legs, power cord, hinge pins, clips, batteries, and the synch cable.
